Hridaykunj Corridor
This Corridor was used in many different ways. It was a work place during the day, a bed room at night, and for as long as Hridaykunjmaintained a community kitchen for the ashram. It functioned as a dining room. Also under taken here were Talks with colleagues and leaders of the nation, various committee meetings, and designing creative strategies for national and political meetings. Meetings of the All India National Congress have also been organized at the Ashram.
Gandhiji and his colleagues used to sleep in the open, outside this Corridor, in the summer, and inside it during the winter.
